Lucy Croft, Ed.D


If you want to enjoy the learning of leadership, Lucy Croft knows how to deliver practical lessons on effective leadership behaviors. She currently serves as the Associate Vice-President for Student Affairs at the University of North Florida, an experience that allows her to offer real life solutions for real life challenges.

Lucy emphasizes and lives by a wellness approach to leadership.  She is a twenty-five year veteran presenter of leadership and educational workshops on the local, regional, and national levels. Having always “walked the talk,” Lucy is well respected across the country. She serves on the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Board of Directors, and co-chaired for three consecutive years, the National Leadership Symposium sponsored by the National Clearinghouse for Leadership Programs (NCLP) and NACA.  Additionally, Lucy serves on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run, and does foster care of Golden Retrievers for GREAT Rescue.  To further support her wellness approach, she is a two-time Ironman finisher and 20-time marathon finisher.

Her recognition by the National Association for Campus Activities with the Outstanding Diversity Achievement Award is testimony to the quality programs this compassionate and energetic student affairs professional creates.
