Competency Areas

More than a catchy phrase, “Explore. Engage. Evolve” identifies the three categories for organizing the undergraduate programming track.  Every program is identified by the specific competency it addresses.

Definitions of the 60 Student Leadership Competencies assist participants in developing a common language.

The graduate student and professional development track is organized in two design tracks:  Programming and Innovation.  These "professional only" workshops are facilitated by nationally regarded researchers, practitioners and speakers.

The New Professionals Institute and offerings for new professionals will be identified in the conference program.  You can choose any workshop from 49 possible, or attend sessions identified by NP.  Eight additional hours of training are provided (in addition to the conference schedule) as part of the institute tuition.
