Ann Marie Klotz
Dr. Ann Marie Klotz is the Associate Vice President for Student Success at The New School, in New York City. Her 18 years in higher education have included leadership roles within Student Affairs at Radford University, New York Institute of Technology, Oregon State University, DePaul University, Ball State University, and Albion College. She earned her B.A. from Grand Valley State University (Political Science) and M.A.’s from Michigan State University (Student Affairs) and DePaul University (Women and Gender Studies) respectively. She earned her doctorate from DePaul University where she studied the career trajectory and leadership styles of ten female university presidents.
As a first-generation college student from Detroit, MI she is passionate about helping under-served students find personal and professional success through education. She is a frequent speaker, keynote, consultant, and trainer for universities and corporations on areas of leadership and development.
She has served in multiple regional and national roles for the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA), most notably with the Women in Student Affairs Knowledge Community. She is the recipient of the ACUHO-I Herstory Award and the NASPA Region II Scott Goodnight Award for Outstanding Performance as a Dean.
