Nancy Hunter Denney, M.A. / @nhdenney

Tapping on the “best of the best” practices observed over three decades in higher education, her vision became a reality with the inaugural Lead365 National Conference held in March 2015 to enthusiastic reviews. Believing in the power of collaboration, she credits the success of Lead365 to partnerships with NACA, NASPA, ACPA and NCLP, as well as with the generosity of spirit of fellow professional speakers and colleagues willing to serve as “The Faculty” for three straight days.Unable to contain her entrepreneurial spirit and desire to spend more time with her young children, Ms. Denney resigned as the assistant dean of students at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (MA) in 1993 to become a full-time professional speaker. She came to WPI after starting her career as a program board advisor at Case Western Reserve University where she was active in NACA. With presentations at hundreds of state, regional and national conferences, as well as on over 900 college campuses, she has earned a reputation for humorously challenging audiences to raise their personal expectations and standards for life and leadership. She has also shared the national stage with financial advice giver Suze Orman, news correspondent Solidad O’Brien, and talk show host, Dr. Phil.Ms. Denney is the author or co-author of six books, owns her own publishing company, and has served on regional and national leadership boards including the NACA New England Regional Steering Committee, ACPA Foundation and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Missions for Humanity – a nonprofit dedicated to providing medical care to third world countries. Ms. Denney founded the Lead365 Foundation – a non-profit dedicated to supporting leadership conference attendance to those who normally would not have the resources to travel.Ms. Denney attended the State University of New York at Oswego where she earned a B.A. in Communication Studies and Psychology. She earned a Masters Degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University.

Elizabeth price, M. ED.

Her expertise in educational curriculum development and marketing combine to make Ms. Price an essential contributor to the development and execution of Lead365.  Ms. Price has over 25 years of experience in professional development, training, and higher education instruction.  She currently oversees the sales, marketing, and project management of a nationally branded college software program.

Ms. Price is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo with a degree is Management Science and Public Relations with emphasis in Labor Management Relations.  She received her Master’s Degree in Education from North Carolina State University.

Prior to her recent “retirement,” Ms. Hunt was the chair of the Business Administration program at New Hampshire Technical Institute – Concord’s Community College, as well as, advisor to NHTI’s Student Senate. Whether training in the classroom or in the co-curricular environment, this former bank vice-president brings enthusiasm and humor to her presentations, and continues to enlighten through her wisdom and experience with her business partner, Dr. Chuck Lloyd. She has consulted on numerous college and university campuses sharing her signature workshop, “Student Government 101″ and remains a highly sought after consultant and panelist on student government operations throughout the country.

Ms. Hunt has been a significant source of guidance during the formation of the Lead365 National Conference serving on the original board of directors. She now serve as the treasurer of the Lead365 Foundation where her expertise and organizational development talents are being tapped to create scholarship programs and a national awards program.

In 2003, Ms. Hunt was the recipient of the Commissioner’s Award for Teaching Excellence for the Community College System of New Hampshire. In 2007, she received the Presidents’ Good Steward Award presented by Campus Compact for New Hampshire. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire and the BAI School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Kate Burrow works in Residence Life and Housing at SUNY Oswego. She is passionate about seeing students succeed and works with students to help establish and achieve their goals. With a belief system complimenting the mission of Lead365, Kate holds the belief you always have the power to change your story, and that they story is never-ending.

Kate has two children and is happily married to her partner of 10 years. She holds a Master’s degree from Canisius College in College Student Personnel Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from SUNY Fredonia. She loves to travel, cook, read and paint and make people laugh. She has a small obsession with Broadway plays and musicals.


 

Jennifer SchreerJENNIFER YAWSOM, M.A.

A 19 year professional in Higher Education, Jennifer stays very involved in the profession serving on conference committees for NACA, ACPA, and MCPA and regularly attends and presents at conferences to stay up to date with growing trends in the profession.  Jennifer attended the inaugural LEAD 365 Conference in the Spring 2015 and is thrilled to be back this year and part of the conference leadership team.  Jennifer currently works at Albion College in Michigan, as the Director of Campus Programs and Organizations, the Associate Director of the Women’s Center and a Title IX Deputy.  At Albion, Jennifer primarily works in the areas of Student Activities, Programming, Orientation and Leadership Development.

Before Albion College, Jennifer worked at The College of Wooster in Ohio and at Siena Heights University in Michigan, both in areas of Residential Life and Student Activities.  While keeping a work-life balance, Jennifer loves traveling and spending time with her husband, family and friends, as well as enjoying peaceful activities outdoors in nature.

Tahsin Nabid is from West Palm Beach, Florida and is currently working as the Conference Manager for Lead365. Tahsin is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where he received his Bachelors of Science in Business Management and Political Science. Tahsin has worked in the student leadership arena with many organizations for the past 12 years and has held local, state, and national board positions with Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) and the Florida College System Student Government Association (FCSSGA). He loves to give back to organizations that have opened so many doors for him, so he is continuously involved in both FBLA-PBL and FCSSGA to volunteer his time and money to see the students in those organizations succeed as well as provide leadership training and mentorship to them. His love for travel and passion in organizing successful events keeps him going as he strives to explore, engage, and evolve with Lead365.
